The Burmese American Community Institute is committed to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services and contributing to community integration.
As part of this approach and principle, we put all our endeavor to expanding community knowledge, mutual understanding and connectivity whereby contributing to community cohesion and culture integration — and we believe in two-ways street engagement and information sharing among the communities through various channels.
This newsletter serves as one of the tools, among others, to strengthen this endeavor.

At BACI, we maintain a high standard of accountability and transparency with the use of grants and gifts our donors entrust to us. We are always trying to keep our overhead rate low. In the past year, we used 95 percent of our total operating expenses towards programs that directly benefit students and community.
